The Constitution of the Republic of Korea guarantees the fundamental rights of citizens, including the right to privacy and the freedom and confidentiality of communication. Therefore, the secret monitoring or collection of personal information and private life through wiretapping or similar methods is, in principle, illegal.
However, widespread illegal wiretapping and the leakage of communication data have resulted in serious violations of human rights and have threatened individuals' ability to enjoy a free and secure life.To fundamentally eliminate any potential infringement of your basic rights and to thoroughly protect the privacy of MediArk members, we hereby establish the following Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy may be subject to revision in accordance with changes in government laws, guidelines, or internal company policy. We encourage members to review this policy periodically when visiting the MediArk website.
The purpose of collecting your personal information is to provide optimized and personalized services to MediArk members. MediArk offers both free and paid content.
Based on the personal information you provide, we may deliver more relevant and useful information tailored to your interests.
For service provision, MediArk may display advertisements. Your personal information helps us select and deliver ads that may be more valuable and meaningful to you.
When you first register as a member, MediArk collects the minimum personal information necessary for service provision.
The information collected during registration includes:
ID, date of birth, nickname, marital status, referrer ID, password, name, e-mail, address, telephone number, and mobile number.
Additional information may be requested to provide specific services.
This includes mobile phone numbers for real-name verification and other data necessary for service provision.
We may also request additional information for surveys, events, statistical analysis, or prize delivery.
All information collected will be used only for the purposes disclosed in advance and will not be used for any other purpose.
As long as you remain a registered member and receive services from MediArk, your personal information will be retained and used for service provision.
However, if you request account deletion or membership termination as outlined in Section 7, or when the purpose for which the information was collected is fulfilled, the stored data will be permanently deleted from our systems in an irrecoverable manner and will no longer be accessible or used for any purpose.
In principle, MediArk does not disclose your personal information to third parties.
Exceptions include:
When you have given prior consent
When sufficient grounds exist to take legal action against individuals who violate the Terms of Service, cause harm to others, or engage in actions that disrupt public order
For improved service, MediArk may share personal information with business partners.
In such cases, you will be informed of the partner’s identity, the purpose of data use, the information to be shared, and the duration and management method.
Information will never be shared without your prior consent.
Even when advertisements target specific demographics (e.g., women in their 20s), no personally identifiable information is provided to advertisers.
Statistical, academic, or market research data is shared only in a format that does not identify individuals.
MediArk uses cookies to provide personalized and customized services.
Cookies are small data files sent to your browser by the server and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
To use personalized services on the MediArk website, you must allow cookies.
Cookies help MediArk recognize your ID and provide more useful services.

MediArk employs antivirus programs, regularly updated security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and 24-hour monitoring to prevent hacking, viruses, and unauthorized access.
We also back up system data to ensure protection against unexpected system failures.
Access to personal data is limited to a minimum number of authorized staff.
These staff undergo regular training and compliance checks. Any violations detected through internal audits are immediately corrected.
Members may view or edit their registered personal information at any time and may request account (ID) deletion.
If you have complaints or opinions regarding your personal information, please contact our Privacy Administrator at help@mediark.co.kr, and we will respond promptly.
Children under the age of 14 must not submit personal information without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords. MediArk will never ask for your password by email or any other method.
Please be especially cautious when using MediArk in public settings to prevent unauthorized access by others.
